Have you wonder how much electricity your iPhone or iPad consume?

WOW...In the entire year, you only spend a total of USD$1.36 to charge your iPad and USD$0.38 to power your iPhone.

As comparison, 60W bulb cost USD$1.61, desktop PC cost USD$28.21 and refrigerator will set you back USD$65.72.

I am sure most don't really care whether it cost USD$1.36 or USD$13.60 or even USD$136 to power the iPad.  I mean, even USD$136 a year works out to be about USD$0.30 a day which is still by means affordable.

However, for the most cost conscious people who would do anything just to save the $0.01, will they use the iPad to light their rooms, listen to radio, or just buy an iPad to entirely replace their desktop PC?
