I don't want to say anything political, just noting some of the more creative tag lines that the supporters of each side is shouting:

PAP's Desmond Choo: 

"I want nobody, nobody but choo"

(I want nobody, nobody but you - choo)

WP's Png Eng Huat

"Hougang, HUAT ah"

(Hougang, (vote) for Png Eng HUAT ah) 

(Huat (发／發）means prosperity / strike it rich, 

a very good omen in Chinese and Hokkien)

Maybe the next time elections candidates will carry names like: 

TAT (Cantonese) - Can

HO (Hokkien) - Can / Good

CHAN/ZHAN (Chinese) - Praise
