The Month that separate leap year from common year

It is the first of Feb today, thought it might be appropriate with this post.

As you know, 2012 is a leap year, so Feb there is 29 days instead of 28 days.

And if you are wondering why must there by a leap year every 4 years, here is what was extracted from Wiki:

A leap year is a year containing one extra day in order to keep the calendar year synchronized with the astronomical or seasonal year.

Because seasons and astronomical events do not repeat in a whole number of days, the calendar that had the same number of days in each year would, over time, drift with respect with to the event it is supposed to track. By inserting an additional day or month into the year, the drift can be corrected.

A year that is not a leap year is called a common year.
