SMRT is now issuing MC like chits to commuter who are affected by train delays. My guess is that too many people are using breakdown as an excuse for being late for work. And when the bosses found out that it is not true, they demand something more concrete. Hence the creation of this SMRT excuse chit.
So now first thing is to report to your company which line you will normal take on SMRT.
Maybe in CV next time, they will ask: Mode of Transport to work : "Public / Car / Motorbike / Others. If public, please state train line...."

They say that for the Chinese, anything can be taken to gamble.So here goes for SMRT breakdown. Only problem is that not opened to SMRT staffs, otherwise they may be accused of odds fixing...LOL.
